About Cachoeirinha 

The name, which translates as 'little waterfall' comes from the small waterfall located in the east end of the valley. Seu Geraldo the patriarch of the Borges family strives to uphold not only the quality of the coffee but the livelihoods of his community and the land that provides so much for them.

In partnership with FAF (Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza), an international green coffee supplier, the surrounding farms have also had burgeoning success. Their ethos that 'coffee quality is first and is what gets you in the door' has resulted in sustainable farming practices, education on the very coffee they produce and beyond the farm and into their own households with the improvement of living standards and equipment.
