Our DECAF coffee is carefully decaffeinated using the Ethyl Acetate method. This preserves the delicate flavours and aromas of every coffee bean by combining Ethyl Acetate as a natural solvent with spring water to remove the caffeine.
Interestingly Ethyl Acetate is a naturally occurring substance already present in coffee beans as well as other fruit and veg. Avoiding excessive heat and pressure, this process retains the natural structure of the coffee bean cells. All of which means the coffee in your hand taste just as delicious as out full caffeinated coffee!
