When David took Huye Mountain private, he made a bold and considered decision by segmenting the mountain range into seven distinct zones, each producing coffee with its own unique flavour profile. It’s a level of precision that speaks to his broader philosophy: that great coffee starts long before it reaches the roaster.
That philosophy extends to the people he works with too. David is a genuine philanthropist, deeply invested in the wellbeing of the farming families who deliver their coffee to him. From Huye Mountain, both washed and natural lots are available — and both are worth your attention. The natural is the more expressive of the two; richer, fruitier, and with a complexity that makes it a natural fit for espresso or filter.
